Formedia, is a not-for-profit registered foundation, based at New Delhi, India, since 2000. It was set up in public interest, towards the cause of high-quality creative content in the media and NGO sector, with an emphasis on the critical genre of documentary and including the role of news and related forms of information.The media-related activities include training workshops & intensive training programmes for aspiring and young independent producers, seminars and policy intervention initiatives, creating professional platforms for Indian documentary film-makers with the aim of enabling them to compete at the international level and collaborating to make Indian content visible in mainstream media around the world. |
